We explored a few ways to finish this 24×26 basement in a 1970s split-level home, with the goal of creating a more comfortable space for family and a welcoming suite for overnight guests. The flexible guest room also serves as a home office, while the different options explore what to do with the existing laundry space, whether to add a full bath, and the possibility of a small kitchenette serving both the family room and guest suite.
